School Uniform

We ask all parents and carers to support our school uniform policy.

Parents should ensure that their child has the correct uniform, and that it is clean and in good repair.

In case of items getting lost (which they sometimes do!) please ensure items are clearly marked with your child’s name.

The uniform is available to buy from Top Form located at The Stow or from their website www.top-form.co.uk

Uniform items without the school logo can be purchased from most major retailers.

The school does not permit children to have extreme haircuts or colouring that could serve as a distraction to other children. Hair bands, clips etc should be discreet designs in colours compatible with school colours and only used in order to keep hair in place.

Uniform List

Trousers, skirt or pinafore dress - Grey (skirts should be long enough to enable the wearer to sit cross-legged without embarrassment).

Shirt – White shirt and school tie (standard or clip-on).

EYFS/KS1 children have the option of wearing a white polo shirt without a tie.

Sweatshirts – Navy V-neck, with or without school logo.

Cardigan - Navy V-neck, with or without school logo

Shoes - Black – NO TRAINERS OR BOOTS

Please ensure shoes are waterproof for the wet weather

and suitable for running around in at playtime.

Socks and tights – Plain black, navy, grey or white.

Book Bag – Navy with school logo.

Summer Options

Dresses – Navy and white check (not light blue)

Shorts - Grey

P.E. Kit

T. Shirt – White (not football shirts), with school logo

Shorts  -  Navy

For outdoor PE:  Trainers.

Track suits –Navy may be worn in winter as children

will continue with outdoor games unless the weather is unsuitable.

P.E. Bags - Please give your child a small bag for their kit. A drawstring bag is ideal.

Jewellery

On health and safety grounds, the only jewellery we allow children to wear in our school is one pair of small stud earrings in pierced ears and small objects of religious significance, such as an icon on a chain. These items must be removed by the child for PE. In our school if a child wishes to have his/her ear(s) pierced, we ask that this be carried out at the beginning of the summer holiday so that the healing process is complete by the time school starts again in September and the ear stud can be removed. In the rare cases when a child cannot remove their ear studs the child will not be able to take part in the PE lessons. Inexpensive watches may be worn by children. However, if a watch is designed for games or making disruptive noises it should not be worn for school.
