Mrs Jo Boad

I started my journey at Broadfields in 2013 just before we became a part of the BMAT family and changed our name to Freshwaters.

My first role within the school was as a midday assisant which quickly changed to becoming a SEND Co-Educator.I loved working with the children on a 1:2:1 basis and in small groups. I was very lucky to be given the opportunity to study for my level 3 in supporting teaching and learning.

In 2018 I took on the role of assistant SENDCo and enjoyed the challenge that came along with it, however I did miss being with the children all day.

The main reason I love working here is definitely the children.
Being able to put a smile on at least one of their faces a day means I am doing my job.

I am now currently based front of house in the office and I am loving it, being able to help the children, their parents and of course the rest of my freshwater family is what makes me happy oh and costa and cuddles.
