Reading – In class we are going to focus on “Midsummer Night’s Dream” we are going to retelling the story, We shall also be reading out parts in groups, as well as individually to the rest of the class.
As writers - We are going to be focussing on persuasive language and creating a persuasive letter to Richard the 2nd. We shall look at creating a playscript of the play and recreating certain aspects of the story.
In Maths- In Maths we shall be looking at statistics including, tables, graphs and pictograms. We shall be then looking at position and direction. Children will be learning how to interpret information. Children will also be describing movement. There will be a opportunity for lots of practical tasks.

Science- We are going to be looking at Micro habitats linked to animals and plants. We shall be exploring around the school finding other habitats and looking at what makes it a habitat. We shall also be collecting woodlice and watching them in class.
Key Vocabulary – habitat, insect, arachnid, dark, damp, sheltered, conditions, ideal, micro-habitat, shady, seasons, sun.
History –. We are going to be exploring events from 1066, and also looking at some of the structures and castles that were built by the Normans. We shall be finding out what will be found in the Tower of London and how we can relate this to our school trip.
Key Vocabulary – Normans, invade, oath conquered, rebellion, earn, abolished, conflict, residence and attraction.
Art – We are going to be creating collages of castles.
